Choosing your departure marina

Most Yeska charters leave from Moll Vell, the marina inside Palma's old harbour and the fleet's permanent base. It is a ten-minute walk from the cathedral and the old town's narrow streets, with metered parking along the quay and a taxi rank at the harbour gate. Boarding starts here, with fuel included as standard for day charters.

Two smaller berths nearby, Port Antic and Club de Mar, are used for specific yachts or charters requiring closer access to particular slips. Port Antic sits a few minutes further along the quay, still within walking distance of the centre; Club de Mar, just outside the main harbour wall, has its own car park and a shorter walk to the boat but a slightly longer taxi ride from the airport. Fuel allowance and boarding time at these berths vary by yacht and are confirmed on the charter sheet.

Whichever marina applies, the standard pickup window runs from 09:00 to 09:30, giving time to brief guests, load provisioning and check weather before casting off. Afternoon and evening charters follow the same boarding routine at a later window confirmed with the booking. Skippers and crew wait at the boat rather than the gate, so guests walk straight down the pontoon to board.

Port Adriano and Puerto Portals

Yacht charter from Port Adriano or Puerto Portals can be arranged for one-way routes along the southwest coast, agreed with the Palma office in advance and subject to the same booking lead times as charters starting at Moll Vell.

Puerto Pollença departures

A yacht charter from Puerto Pollença suits trips focused on the north coast and the Tramuntana bays. Pickup here follows the same advance-notice and deposit terms as any one-way charter arranged away from the home marina.

Palma's marinas at first light

Why Palma works as a base

Fast run from the airport

Palma Airport is about 15 minutes by taxi from Moll Vell, the shortest transfer of any marina on the island.

Walk-on boarding

Boats moor stern-to at the quay, so guests step aboard directly from the pontoon with no tender required.

Close to Cabrera and the southwest coves

Moll Vell puts the yachts within a two-hour run of Cabrera and under an hour from the coves around Illetas and Portals, enough for a full day on the water without long transit.
