How a day charter works
Day charters run in two fixed formats: a four-hour half-day charter and an eight-hour full-day charter. Both operate within two daily departure windows, one starting in the morning and the other in the early afternoon, so the boat and crew can be turned around and re-provisioned between trips. Lead time follows the same 48-hour minimum as other day charters out of Palma.
Day trips use yachts sized between 9 and 15 metres, a range chosen for manoeuvrability in bays and coves rather than long-distance cruising. Opting for a day charter yacht with skipper opens the full range of day boats, including larger sailing yachts that need a qualified hand at the helm. Self-sail guests are limited to a smaller set of motor yachts suited to day handling without a licensed skipper aboard.
A private day trip is booked exclusively for one group, with no shared bookings or mixed parties aboard. Full-day boat charters in Mallorca typically combine two or three anchorages, time for swimming and a lunch stop, while half-day charters focus on a single bay or stretch of coastline close to Palma.

Skipper on board
A qualified skipper is included on every skippered day charter and handles navigation, mooring and safety throughout the trip.
Fuel allowance
Each charter includes a fuel allowance covering up to 50 nautical miles; any distance beyond that is charged at cost at the end of the trip.
Snorkel stop
Every day charter includes one anchorage stop for swimming and snorkelling, with masks and fins available on request.
Towels and water
Fresh towels and bottled water are provided for every guest for the full duration of the charter.
Catering and extras
Lunch, drinks packages and watersports equipment such as paddleboards or jet skis are available on request and charged separately from the charter fee.
